Study: Hypoglycemia affects work output of patients

Hypoglycemic episodes affect the work productivity of patients with diabetes, according to a study to be published in Value in Health. Experts found that 22.7% of participants either arrived late or were absent due to nocturnal hypoglycemia, while 18.3% said they had to leave early or miss a full day's work when the condition occurs during work hours.
