Supercharged drinks target older age groups

High-caffeine energy drinks, the trendy beverage of choice for cramming college students, are increasingly popular with boomers and seniors, with one brand going so far as to hand out samples at an AARP convention last fall. Some working boomers say they can use the extra buzz to get them through long workdays. "I don't see why kids need 'em," says one 65-year-old salesman.
