Wendy's is using social listening to hone its marketing strategies, says digital chief Brandon Rohten. Online chatter helped give marketers the idea for Wendy's nutritional-information mobile application, to increase buzz for its value menu and to head off inaccurate negative buzz about the fast-food industry's use of "pink slime" in products, Rohten says.
