American Eagle spreads its wings wider in Mexico

American Eagle Outfitters opened its third store in Mexico this week, in Guadalajara, and plans to add three more this year and another two in 2014, the company said. The apparel retailer eventually expects to operate 40 to 50 stores in Mexico, and it's also exploring opportunities in Colombia, Panama and Brazil, said Simon Nankervis, senior vice president.
