Feds have released more than $14.6B in EHR incentives

The federal government has released more than $14.6 billion in EHR Incentive Program payments as of the end of April, CMS data show. About 191,305 doctors and eligible professionals have received payments from Medicare, while 88,903 have received incentive payments from Medicaid and 11,117 have been awarded incentives from the Medicare Advantage program.
