Fla. family offers memorial training scholarship

The Johnson family of South Florida is offering five $8,000 scholarships annually for students at Miami Dade College's Eig-Watson School of Aviation in memory of Timothy Johnson Jr., who died when his Cessna went down shortly after takeoff. "It's important to me and my wife," offers Tim Johnson Sr., "to recognize how much flying meant to Timothy and to ensure that his legacy lives on through something productive and positive."
