N.Y. school develops summer program to help students with algebra

In response to disappointing scores by students taking integrated algebra, Kings Park High School in New York is offering a summer program to help students who are taking the course this fall. Other schools in the area have had similar preparatory programs and seen scores on the Regents integrated algebra exam improve afterwards, officials said.
