RWJF tech challenge to promote data transparency

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation recently unveiled the RWJF Hospital Price Transparency Challenge to enhance consumers' understanding and use of data to compare care costs in hospitals. The contest asks participants to develop applications and tools that will promote the transparency of hospital prices and help patients interpret the information. The deadline for submissions of entries is Aug. 25.
