Study notes widespread but short-term food insecurity

Nearly 15% of households experience food insecurity, according to a U.S. Agriculture Department report, but in most cases, the condition is transient. The report, "Food insecurity in U.S. households rarely persists over many years," is by sociologist Mark Nord.
