DOA seeks $2 fee for cruisers, reduction in air fees

The Department of Agriculture has proposed to have cruise passengers pay a fee of $2 to help cover the costs of implementing quarantine and inspection operations on vessels, which are currently paid by cargo ships. The proposal also calls for a reduction from $5 to $4 on the quarantine and inspection fee for international fliers.
