Hoteliers tap retargeting strategies to boost conversion

Attendees of the Europe Partners Conference in Barcelona highlighted the growing use of retargeting, or conversion rate optimization, as a way to maintain online visibility and boost potential conversions. Experts said the practice, which uses website cookies to present consumers with targeted ads as they surf the Web, can be enhanced by tapping the massive amount of information gathered by online giants such as Google and Facebook.
