NASA researchers work to ease air congestion

With air travel rebounding and projected to grow significantly in the future, air traffic controllers will have their hands full with the added capacity. Researchers at the NASA Langley Research Center are working on an "Autonomous Operations Planner" that will give pilots more information on nearby aircraft.
