Technology may improve Wyoming highways

The Wyoming Department of Transportation is taking steps to improve highway driving for travelers with technological upgrades including electronic signs combined with ice detection systems, infrared animal detection systems and other construction-related electronic notices. WyDOT officials hope the changes will ease the rising costs of road closures because they cost the national economy $1 million per hour.
