Commentary: Moore's Law applies to digital photography

Nathan Myhrvold, former chief technology officer of Microsoft, says the relentless drive to increase computing power -- known as Moore's Law after Intel co-founder Gordon Moore -- is exerting similar influence on the development of digital photography. When it comes to digital cameras, that's "meant sensors with more megapixels and bigger memory cards," Myhrvold writes.
