A Massachusetts charter school with Russian roots

Emigre Julia Sigalovsky founded the Advanced Math and Science Academy charter school in Marlborough, Mass., to educate middle-schoolers with the same highly structured curriculum Russian schools follow. Students take sequential, five-year courses in science and math, along with integrated humanities classes in such subjects as Greek literature and art.
