Israel negotiates with foreign biotechs for joint ventures

Israel's chief scientist says the nation is negotiating with several biotechs around the world to join the government and local companies in joint ventures. The move, he said, is part of a plan to spend up to $500 million in government and corporate funds to establish biotech and nanotechnology research and development centers and attract collaborations.
