Nielsen launches wireless-behavior measurement service

The Nielsen Co. on Wednesday announced the first product from its new Nielsen Wireless service. Mobile Vector, which launches in July, will track wireless consumers' media-consumption habits. It will also examine audience demographics segmented by wireless carrier and will later expand to survey mobile-phone users. Mobile Vector will use information from Nielsen's National People Meter TV sample as well as other Nielsen services.
