Business owners who are more engaged online are more successful overall, according to a survey by American City Business Journals. One Internet entrepreneur advises small-business owners to keep their engagement simple at first. "You don't have to sign up for a million networks, just pick one or two and be really good at them," said Nicole Donnelly, founder of BigRuby.
