Emergent works with Merck subsidiary on siRNA technology

Emergent Technologies and Merck & Co. unit Sirna Therapeutics are collaborating on a technology for the delivery of small interfering RNA into cells. The agreement could create a connection between the drug industry and Big 12 research universities, the president of consulting firm Ron Kessler Group said.
