North Carolina vet school joins in global canine cancer research

A genomics professor with North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine is working with international researchers on a project to investigate cancer in golden retrievers. "Data that emerge from this study should offer new insight into cancer predisposition and progression in dogs, and may have far-reaching impact on advancing our understanding of human cancers," the professor said.
