Private pilot lands Cessna on Alaska highway

A private pilot performed an emergency landing of his Cessna 180 on Glenn Highway in Alaska. Pilot Bill Toney landed the single-engine airplane on the highway north of Anchorage on Friday after the plane suffered mechanical failure. "He did a fine job of landing it on the freeway," said Anchorage Police Lt. Dave Parker. "He said he landed it in a spot between traffic, so he did well."
