Report: Fiber net will spur Singapore broadband surge

The construction of a fiber network will drive broadband-service revenue and adoption rates in Singapore even though the market is considered saturated, according to a new report from Pyramid Research. The new network will meet growing demand for higher speeds on fixed and wireless data services, Pyramid suggests, predicting that data will increase from accounting for 31% of service revenue today to 38% by 2014.
