Delta plans to consolidate operations, shifting toward Atlanta

Richard Anderson, chief executive officer at Delta Air Lines, sent a letter to employees this week explaining the carrier's plans to consolidate some operations that are now conducted in Minneapolis to Atlanta. All employees in Minnesota who are willing to relocate will be offered positions. Anderson explained that the consolidation will help reduce costs.
