Max Pharma develops UHF tag to track drug shipments

Max Pharma is rolling out its new passive ultrahigh frequency radio-frequency identification tags to track drug products. The German pharmaceutical distributor will use the tags to track shipping times and dates and to monitor temperatures and other sensor data. The firm's IT division developed the tags and hopes to sell them to other companies.
