Report: Parents see pitfalls, potential with children's use of media

Many parents are concerned about the mental and physical effects of digital media on children, though many do not believe their children are overusing such media, according to a new report by the nonprofit Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop. The report also finds that a majority of parents believe some video games may offer academic benefits for students.
