The Department of Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University has created an ultrasound device that is designed to help ease leg pain in horses. The device, which fits within specially designed neoprene leg wraps, allows horses to graze or exercise comfortably, while receiving as much as six hours of ultrasound therapy.
