Use additives in ethanol-blend fuel for small engines, mechanics say

Mechanics in Buffalo, N.Y., say that the ethanol content in gasoline has broken down machines with small engines. Joe Busalachi of Buffalo Small Engine Repair said ethanol tends to take in water, and then it corrodes an engine's rubber components. He recommends that owners of lawn mowers and weed whackers use a fuel additive to protect their equipment.
