AT&T readies Galaxy Exhilarate, an eco-friendly smartphone

AT&T says it will offer a low-cost, eco-friendly 4G alternative to its Android-powered Galaxy S III handset this month as it seeks to draw more consumers who are not prepared to drop hundreds of dollars on a smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate Long-Term Evolution phone -- which is made from 80% recycled materials and will retail for about $50 when it hits stores Sunday -- features a dual-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor and will offer access to AT&T's subscription-based U-verse Live TV.
