AT&T expects Q2 rebound on net wireless adds

AT&T will finish the second quarter with a gain of 500,000 wireless customers, a marked improvement from its first quarter when the carrier added 296,000 subscribers. The company reiterated its projections for an overall 2% rise in annual growth this year, but it said that while wireless profit margins should remain stable in the second quarter, corporate margins would take a hit due to "customer additions and investments in new growth opportunities." Also, AT&T confirmed it will replace some of it lower-end data plans with its prepaid GoPhone service.
