EU rejects IMF criticism of its role in Greek rescue

The European Commission said an International Monetary Fund report saying that Greece's rescue didn't do enough to support the recovery of the nation's economy is "plainly wrong". Simon O'Connor, a spokesman for EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner Olli Rehn, said significantly cutting Greece's deficit while keeping it in the euro zone was "no mean feat".
