New report puts avionics sales over $1.7 billion in first quarter

In its inaugural Avionics Market Report, the Aircraft Electronics Association said worldwide avionics sales totaled more than $1.7 billion during the first quarter of 2013. "Never before has there been a true capture of the dollar size of the general aviation electronics market," said Paula Derks, AEA president. Twenty aviation electronics manufacturers participated in the report.
