Retirement-savings levels static since 2009, study says

Americans score on average only 64 out of a possible 100 when it comes to retirement readiness, according to a study from consulting firm McKinsey & Co. The firm's "Retirement Readiness Index" is based on factors such as Social Security, pensions, defined-contribution plans, real estate and other savings. McKinsey noted the average has been static since 2009 despite the improving economy.
