South Sudan makes change to new textbooks under national curriculum

South Sudan recently received a shipment of textbooks aligned with its new national curriculum, which is focused on English, science, mathematics, history and religious studies. Educators say they are optimistic the switch from Arabic textbooks to those in English will help promote understanding among students.
