Telephone coaching may benefit CRC survivors, study shows

The program CanChange, which included 11 telephone counseling sessions, helped improve some outcomes among colorectal cancer survivors, Australian researchers report. The sessions offered advice on getting enough physical activity, weight management, diet, tobacco use and alcohol intake. Patients in the intervention group tended to get more physical activity and have lower body mass index, among other improvements.
