Senators want more details on Boeing tanker contract

Lawmakers have asked for more details on the involvement of the White House and Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld in a tanker contract awarded to Boeing, according to media reports. A government report also criticized Air Force officials for rushing to approve the contract. The contract was revoked after an investigation revealed Boeing was unfairly favored.
