Kraft, S.C. Johnson help small manufacturers gain ground

The Wisconsin-based Center for Advanced Technology and Innovation Inc. is helping small food companies launch new products by licensing processing technology donated to the center by large manufacturers including Kraft Foods and S.C. Johnson. The center's most recent deal is with Alliance Enterprises, which will use a Kraft technology to develop a line of healthy cheeses.
