Study: Whole-grain products help grow bread market

The introduction of whole grains and functional breads are revitalizing the U.S. bread market, with nearly half of the new products introduced last year including whole wheat, according to a new report by Packaged Facts. U.S. bread sales are expected to hit $13.8 billion by the end of this year, and reach $14.1 billion by 2010.
