Asia-Pacific hotel construction slump may be bottoming out

The slump in hotel construction in the Asia-Pacific region appears to be finally bottoming out, according to Lodging Econometrics. Both China and India are investing heavily in infrastructure improvements and looking ahead to consumer spending, while new openings in India are expected to rise year over year through the end of the decade.
