CDC chief gears up for battle against H1N1 flu virus

Dr. Thomas Frieden, the new director of the CDC, vowed to prioritize efforts to combat the H1N1 flu virus outbreak that as of Friday had been implicated in the deaths of eight people. "There are still lots of unanswered questions -- its case fatality rate, vaccine efficacy, the potential impact on the elderly," Frieden said.
