Developing countries seen as ideal incubators for green technologies

The need to involve the developing world in clean-technology innovations was an underlying theme of a three-day event at Cornell University's Center for Sustainable Global Enterprise last week. Because developing countries are seen as less entrenched in their business models, they represent ideal laboratories for installing renewable technologies that can reduce energy emissions and infrastructure costs alike.
