Intel puts $43M into Tokyo WiMAX network:

Intel Capital has made a $43 million bet on UQ Communications, a Japanese WiMAX operator. The investment is designed to help UQ launch its Tokyo network next month, which will reportedly offer download speeds of up to 40 megabits per second and upload speeds of 10 Mbps.
