Researchers ID test for accurate CPP diagnosis

Central precocious puberty can be diagnosed in girls in 90% of cases by a single basal luteinizing hormone value as determined by a third-generation assay, a study in Pediatrics found. The researchers said the next step is to investigate whether a single sample of LH can determine treatment dosing for CPP patients.
