San Andreas Fault sensors will speed spread of quake info

Researchers with the U.S. Geological Survey have installed new sensors near the southern end of the San Andreas Fault in San Bernardino County, Calif. The new sensors are the first step in creating an earthquake early warning system, researchers say, which could someday provide broadcast warnings of impending quakes through the region.
