Security concerns persist for open source, diminishing for SaaS

The security of open-source systems remains a concern for 58% of large U.S. and European firms and about two-thirds of SMBs, according to a new survey from Forrester Research. On the flip side, only 27% of respondents cited security as a concern with Software-as-a-Service systems, down from 57% in a 2007 survey.
