Munich: Catastrophes could lead to insurance price hike

Munich Re said recent disasters could spur an increase in insurance prices at July 1 renewals, citing a "long-term trend towards ever-higher natural catastrophe costs." The reinsurer says it expects the frequency and intensity of natural catastrophes "to increase in the coming decades largely on account of climate change."
