NCLB challenge is not headed to U.S. Supreme Court

The U.S. Supreme Court will not take up a case challenging the constitutionality of the No Child Left Behind law. A Michigan district and teachers unions filed suit over the law, arguing that it unlawfully placed mandates on school districts without providing funding. A lower court had dismissed the case, leading to appeals.
