Survey shows improved airline satisfaction

After a three-year decline, customer satisfaction with airlines in North America finally improved in the past year, with customers rating their satisfaction with 11 U.S. airlines and one Canadian carrier at the average score of 673 on a 1,000-point scale, 15 points higher than scores last year, according to an annual survey from J.D. Power. Ratings were based on fare and fees, flight crew, in-flight services, aircraft, boarding, deplaning, baggage, check-in and reservations.
