Making social media safe for work

Employers must face the fact that workers will use social media at work, but they should put practices in place to protect the company and the employees, legal expert Charles Leitch said at the Public Risk Management Association's annual meeting. For example, Leitch suggested training employees on social media rules and providing work phones for employees doing company business so the organization legally can monitor the device.
