Nokia hit with ratings downgrade, pricing pressure from rivals

Fitch lowered Nokia's debt rating a notch to BBB- with a negative outlook Tuesday, a development that sent the cost of insuring that debt soaring. Also, analysts warned that the cellphone maker's core feature phone business has come under siege in global markets by vendors underpricing Nokia's products. Samsung declined to comment on investor speculation that the Korean consumer-electronics giant might acquire Nokia.
