Business internship teaches office, manufacturing skills

The Centennial School District in Minnesota has partnered with Medtronic, a medical-device maker, for yearlong business internships that teach manufacturing and office skills to students with disabilities. Some students in Project SEARCH get jobs at Medtronic and others head into the job market with a good resume and skills they otherwise might not have obtained, said instructor Pat Bergstrom.
